All pavement is treatable with an asphalt repair and maintenance program, but patchwork should to be done prior to the installation of the asphalt repair and maintenance program. Replacement or asphalt overlaying is not always the answer. Armor-Guard will evaluate the asphalt repairs needed prior to sealcoating and cut out any potholes, severe cracks, patches, sinkholes or rotting asphalt. Repair the crushed gravel base and then install new hot asphalt; similar in aggregate size prior to sealcoating. There's no sense in sealing destroyed pavement. Large cracks that are too wide for the hot rubberized crack filler will also be filled with hot asphalt to provide support of surface weight. All cutout seams will be bonded with D.O.T. spec hot rubberized crack filler to ensure a water tight repair.
